Collect mail to your own mail server. Includes Webmail both locally and/or remotely.
File Server:
Keep all of your company files on a single server, setting user or group based access permissions.
Virus Scanning:
Full scanning on the server, including files and incoming/outgoing mail.
Spam Filtering:
Spam filtering on the server for all incoming mail.
VPN connection:
Allow remote users access to your company file server over a secure connection, just as if they were directly connected to your local network.
Database:
Customised databases built for your business, accessed and updated by your Web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer/Firefox).
Backup:
Backup to a secondary removable drive can be set up, allowing regular backups to be made and taken off-site.

Servers are configured with RAID-1 mirroring for minimal downtime: if the hard disk on your server dies you can immediately reboot into the secondary disk which is an exact replica.

Remote Backup

Overnight backups over a secure connection can transfer all changes made on your server during the day.  Backups can be made to a server hosted with us, or to a backup server at a location of your choice.

Disaster Recovery

We can provide replica servers, where your data is not only backed up but is transferred to a working replica of your live server.  If a disaster occurs you can immediately replace the main server without having to rebuild it and restore from backup data.

Security

Our main aim is to make sure your network is secure, and that access to sensitive data is protected. 

We will frequently check your server remotely to ensure that it is healthy, and that all necessary updates are applied.

Open Source Solutions

One of our main goals is to promote the use of Linux and Open Source software, and open file formats. 

Companies that need access to Microsoft Office documents, but can't afford the cost, can benefit by free Open Source office software such as Open Office.  This allows opening and creating of documents in most Microsoft Office formats.
